What Nebula Is

Nebula Institute is the world’s first Venture High School. It is a next-generation secondary school designed to prepare students for a future defined by uncertainty, rapid technological change, and continuous disruption.
Nebula combines internationally recognized academic qualifications with a structured entrepreneurship and venture creation program developed by Expara, one of Southeast Asia’s leading venture capital and entrepreneurship education organizations.
Nebula is not a traditional school with entrepreneurship added as an elective. It is a dual-track institution where academics and venture creation are equally core.

How It Works

Academic Track

A full IGCSE programme (Years 10–11) aligned to internationally recognised examination boards, including Pearson Edexcel.

International A Levels are introduced as cohorts progress, completing the academic pathway to global universities.

Entrepreneurship Track

A structured entrepreneurship pathway delivered in parallel with academic studies.

During the IGCSE years, students complete a two-year programme culminating in the Expara Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Venture Creation, issued by Expara Academy.

As students progress into A Levels, this pathway continues with advanced entrepreneurship and innovation learning, leading to the Expara Advanced Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Venture Creation, reflecting deeper venture capability and capstone-level work.

Nebula is designed for how teenagers actually learn best.

Students benefit from flexible scheduling, global peer cohorts, and collaborative online environments that support both academic focus and creative exploration. Learning is primarily delivered online, with opportunities for optional in-person entrepreneurship bootcamps and immersive experiences designed to deepen real-world application as the programme evolves.

This model balances structure with flexibility, independence with collaboration, and academic rigor with experiential learning.

Foundation Stage (IGCSE Years)

Why Nebula

For more than two thousand years, the fundamental structure of education has changed very little. A teacher at the front, students absorbing information, and success measured by recall.

The world has changed faster in the last twenty years than education has in centuries. Nebula exists to close that gap by combining academic rigor with venture creation, so students are prepared not just for exams, but for uncertainty.
